My ideal art studio.

This was a fun collage of layers of doors stairs and vegetation,as if a tree house. It was rejected by "Somerset Studio" but hey they have printed others I did in their lovely magazines.
OK question,I need your attention for a short story here...today as I am backing out of a parking place a car pulled up behind me,the couple kissed and she got out. The guy driving was n a hurry to not block me any longer so he helped her get her bags out of the back seat. He hit his car door with one bag and I heard a loud smash. He got back in and was driving off when the woman looked into the bag and yelled "That's the one I needed" and broke down and sobbed. I had a deadline and had to leave but I spent the whole day wondering...what would make a younger woman break down and sob in public for some time, about "the one I needed" that broke in her bag??? Give me your opinion please. "Needed" is a heavy word so I am not thinking it was something monetary. "Wanted" would have been less heavy a word I would think had it been replaceable.

These little vignettes in life are so engaging. What is her story? What was it that was simply the last straw and she dissolved in a flood of tears. Makes a vivid art prompt in any case.

Thanks for popping by my blog, I am intrigued by your guerilla bookmarks, can you send me a link or a pic of them?

Cheers!

I like this collage, Joy.

It is curious about the woman being so upset about something that broke in her bag. Although, some people do react stronger to disappointment than others.

The one flawless mirror of many tries she needed for her camera obscura?

Love the colors in your tree house collage.

And this scene that you saw take place is very addictive to think about. I agree with girl+dog. I am thinking the crying may have been mostly in reaction to something that happened earlier.

So maybe fitting word would be "overtaken."

Hi Joy...I bet it was just the straw that broke the camel's back. My guess is...it was just one of those days for her.

Love the collage. That's a pretty dang cool studio!

I love this collage. So vibrant with life.

I have been thinking about that story since you posted it and I thought maybe she was some kind of a health assistant/nurse/doctor who was going to help a patient and something like a needle/bottle broke?! What's interesting for me in that story is ot only the human drama of course, but YOUR amazing sensitivity to your surroundings!
