We have reservations for our "fall getaway" in October. We love the Ocean (anywhere) in the off seasons. I still don't know why people want to go in the crowds and heat. If I owned (oh I wish) a place at the beach I would prefer leaving during summer. I will be counting the days for yet another much needed sabbatical. Love coming home with more shells for the collection.

This is such a well composed collage. Very Fall-appropriate. I could not really tell if this is a mixed media one (the chiseled railing, the shell?)..Would love to see it a little bit bigger (400 pixels) maybe. Thank you for your visit to my blog too!

And I agree with you! We love to go "down the ocean" off season. I am especially fond of going to Assateague to see the ponies in the winter.
