I could not live without music in my life

Most of my art journaling is very private. This is a page about a song I love called "stars" by Simply Red. Old wrapping paper with stars on it and the song were the inspiration for this page. Alot of my pages are about favorite songs. I am also working on my Bob Dylan art journal since his words always inspired me thru life. My poor son knows all his words too. I raised my son on Dylan words and meanings. He got so tired of all Dylans quotes, lol.

I love music...but my taste dates me. Isn't fun sharing our "oldies" with our kids?? My coolness factor went way ip when my son discovered my stash of old LPs when we were at my parents house....My sister Rima was the Bob Dylan fan those days..

I agree. I could never live without music in my life. I often say that in my next life I will be a rock star, though a healthy one. :))

Music that currently inspires me is worldy-loungey with a great beat and some electronica thrown in. I do like Bob Dylan too! Did you see I'm Not There?

Joy, I love this piece. The lyrics are beautiful (I never realized Simply Red had anything to say), and the stars are so happy! It's awesome you raised your son on Dylan. My parents raised me on Kingston Trio and Simon and Garfunkle. My kids love The Beatles and Bob Marley.
